Bounmi’s traditional Lao meals are freshly prepared to order by our talented local Chef. Her strong passion for cooking can be tasted in every bite of her delectable Lao dishes.

    Excellent, Excellent, Excellent is all we can say! An authentic tradition Lao lunch in Ms. Pai. Make yourselves at home in this traditional Lao Loum village. Ms. Pai is a fantastic host; her home is warm and friendly and her food is simply delicious and always fresh! A great local culinary experience and you won’t be disappointed in the Mekong cruise either. Smiles!

    “Traditional Lao Dish”
    Cooked minced meat with lemon grass, fresh mint, spring onion, garlic, kaffir lime leaves, fresh chilli, shallots and a special sauce. Banana flower – pork. Green bean – Chicken.

    “Fresh Spring Rolls”
    A mix of banana flower, salad, bean sprouts and rice noodles. Served with a peanut sauce.

    Kaiphan
    “Fried Mekong River Weed”
    Harvested and prepared locally in Luang Prabang. Sun dried with garlic, tomato and sesame seeds and then flash fried for a crispy roasted flavour.

    Main Course

    Luang Prabang Salad
    Fresh salad, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, spring onion and boiled egg. Served with a traditional Lao salad dressing made of mayonnaise, egg, lemon, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper.

    Laap
    “Traditional Lao Dish”
